The U.S. government aids foriegn protests to violently overthrow soveriegn governments all the while using police to violently disband non-violent protests in its own country.

Perpetual Campaigning

Romney v Obama
Romney insists that Obama should've been a governor before having been President. Good news is that the People elect the President. Not some clueless jackass .
We the people not we the few

Insist to differ
This is the only part of Campaigning that I enjoy now that the candidates don't care to talk about the real issues. Mark Halperin of TIME says that the Political Gaffe shouldn't be talked about.with these gaffe examples i would guarantee the American people want to know about it

Enough Already
Campaign season is way to long. Especially for incumbants. Do your job and we will vote for you if you did a good job. Take a little time to tell us what you will do in the future and get back to work. The campaign seems to hinge more on how much money the candidate has raised and less upon the substance of issues. In turn it seems that the candidate with the most money raised wins. Hmmm, fishy.

Electoral College
Every vote that the public makes should count and whoever wins a state should not get all of the state's votes. I've read that if we eliminate the E.C. that candidates would only campaign in big cities. Well, we have TV and internet now. And if candidates don't want the rural vote then that is up to them.

A Candidate or Politician Should
-Write his own speeches.
-explain why he is there and what he will do there
-Stop holding fake town hall meetings packed with their own supporters with their own questions.
-a voter makes a poor choice if he is put off by a Gore sigh or a Dean Hooooyah! Somehow I think the media is wrong about this. I dont think we are that stupid.
-fuck the pollsters, and the studies, and the demographics. Just go everywhere and give us your ideas and give your speech and answer your questions.
-stand on the issues and good policy, stop worrying about whether everything you do will you re-elected. If you are doing what's right then you should get the votes.

Pollster-Consultant Industrial Complex

Super PACs
You really can't do anything about Super PACs. It's a freedom we Americans enjoy. We could ignore them though.

I am agnostic

I believe in God, but don't claim to know what he is. I believe, but leave open the idea that I am wrong, that we are all a part of God. A fork, a tree, even I am a part of God. Something has made this Earth stay in orbit and it has sustenance for the animals on it to survive. The universe is awesome and I believe God is the reason somehow. I believe God has provided and we are here to use it or lose it. It is up to us, free will. I don't see a point in God shaping everything that we do. I don't see a point in praying to him or asking for favors. I don't believe in the miracles in the Bible. I don't believe that he inspired the words of the Bible. He is unknowable. I don't believe in Heaven and I think Hell is a ridiculous idea. I believe that Earth and the Universe and everything in it is what he has provided for us.
Through science we are fusing the elements (of God) together to create the discovering more about God.
There is a conundrum of humanity betwixt wanting to teach everyone to be strong and smart with wanting to be the strongest and smartest. This is the difference between good and bad leaders. Do they want things to be easier for all of humanity or do they want to weed out the weak.

Quote by Louise Erdich: "They were so strong in their beliefs that there came a time when it hardly mattered what exactly those beliefs were; they all fused into a single stubbornness."

A man's ethical behavior should be based effectually on sympathy, education, and social ties; no religious basis is necessary. Man would indeed be in a poor way if he had to be restrained by fear of punishment and hope of reward after death. -Albert Einstein

Epicurus-Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

Bureaucracy Science

Take global warming as an example of why we shouldn't put so much faith into gov't. Whether you believe it to be a human calamity or not. If we just put trust into science to explore the truth. Say we funded science and they said, "Well, we can't officially conclude that the phenomenon is human oriented but it is an official trend". We could hear it from science and not have non-scientists clouding our judgement, trying to sway a vote. It would be cheaper and saner to just fund science and keep the bureaucracy out of it. Then we could forget the arguement of whodunnit and correct the problem. Maybe all we can do is acclimate to the weather. Maybe people need to migrate. The finger pointing doesn't help anything. One of the reasons gov't has gotten so big is because noone wants the finger pointed at them. Then commitees get set up and organizations erected and czars appointed. Soon nobody knows that noone is doing a damn thing about the problem but are still getting paid.

Hurricane Katrina is another reason we shouldn't put to much faith in our gov't to get things done. A dumb public also exacerbated this problem. Technology showed us that a devestating storm was most likely to hit. People that worked at the levy said that it wouldn't hold back a big hurricane. Bush was informed of this. He did nothing. The evacuation was inept. The people's effort was lethargic. The lethargic people relied on an inept gov't to save them. As per usual, God didn't tell some people to get out so ofcourse they didn't.

If there is anything more insane than biting the hand that feeds you, it is feeding the dog that bites you.
Giving Pakistan millions of dollars every year in order to help us fight terror while they fund and harbor the very people we are fighting is insane!

Researchers working with National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy have calculated that in 2004 alone, teen pregnancies cost US taxpayers more than $9 billion in health care, foster care, public assistance, and lost tax revenue. I shouldn't have to pay for other's "unplanned" pregnancies. It is simple - having sex can make a baby. This should be a harsh lesson.
I, myself am sick of having to pay for other people to not have a baby.
