Govt's War on Drugs

Cancer dr's are calling out Pharmaceutical Co's
120 leading cancer specialists have joined forces to get pharmaceutical companies to cut costs because they have hiked prices to fight cancer. These Doctor's equate this to "profiteering" off of a major disaster such as a major earthquake.
What the doctors are saying is that the medicine is there. The research cost a lot. The researchers got paid. The drug companies are pompous. They hold the rights to our health and our gov't has given them that right because our gov't can't live without being corrupt and needs the money to keep fudging it's middle class. They want us to rely on them.
Pharm's are Evil.

Legalizing Medical Marijuana
Eric Holder is waiting on the studies on effects of children. Applaud him on that. But don't forget cigarette smoke which has been okay for years and years and years.
He looks very commendable making this statement.

shrink the deficit by legalizing pot? Two politicians are saying, "Well, duh!" Two states have already realized that it doesn't make sense to make pot illegal while more dangerous substances are out there.

Gov Perry wants Illinois businesses to come to Texas

Texas Gov. Perry wants businesses Illinois businesses to come to Texas
He wanted to lure Illinoisan companies to his state because his state had less regulations...
/businesstexas-lure_rick-perry-texas-gov-illinois-gov

Then this happened. Texas did not regulate this company. This company had too much explosive ignitable substances in their building. They were not regulated because Texas does not do their job. So Illinois business leaders...is it worth it? A little bit lesser prices, verses a great disaster? Here is some links:

Peoria's got to Unfail

Looks pretty exciting in Peoria. Grey grey grey.

Peoria's Museum
Museum fails to provide financial data to Peoria County. Landlord, Peoria County says that if you don't want oversight, then you shouldn't use taxpayer money.
Museum-fails-to-provide-financial-data-to-Peoria-County
It looks like a really nice prison from the outside! It is Grey, and drab. From the road and bridge and across the river it is insignificant. Out of town motorists said that they never even noticed it. Peoria's own resident's say that it was boring...really? Their own museum was boring? That is not acceptable.

Dozer Park
Caterpillar got the naming rights for the Chief's Stadium and named it Dozer Park.

Food Trucks
Food trucks have been ruled out of Peoria. Your Welcome Bloomington!

Gun Culture

Are we out of line yet?
A father and son ordered chicken wings and drove home only to discover they didn't get what they ordered. When the cashier offered to replace the chicken wings the pair demanded extra chicken wings and were refused. So the pair showed the cashier their loaded AK-47.
I actually think the father and son should get a little something for them having to come back to the restaurant to get their proper food. But, I think they are complete douchebags to threaten someone's life over fast food.

Five year old shoots 2 year old sister
A Kentucky couple bought their 5 yr old a "child rifle". "It's a Crickett" she said."It's a little rifle for a kid...The little boy's used to shooting the little gun."
Way to fucking parent y'all.

4 yr old grabs gun at family cookout and kills wife of Tennessee's sheriff's wife
Deputy was showing his weapons off in his bedroom and the inevitable happens. It was a terrible accident and shows how lackluster some gun owner's can be. This shows this country's gun culture. And it shows how proud, drunk, careless, and falsely bulletproof some Gun Thumpers can be.

Parents were at home at the time. Was also an accident.

14 yr old Christian boy shoots parents and blames it on video games
His Parents deluded his thoughts on religion, so I can see how he can be deluded on life. He has a complete denial on reality. He is very religious. His parents were too. He blames his gaming on society while his religious background forbade it. He blames his killing of his parents on gaming. HE REALLY is just crazier than fuck just like all the sick children that die while their parents "pray for them".

Cable

Rip off
We pay 99 dollars for Direct TV. When there is a storm we get 0 channels. When I wake up there is nothing interesting on. There is nothing on until 5 in the evening. How is this worth 99 dollars? If I sit down at 8 PM and there is a storm how is this better than cable?
Direct TV wants us to refer friends to cut down our bill. So, they, want us to be their advertisers?
No, you spend PLENTY on ads. No, Everybody should do Zero TV so that cable should stop robbing us.  Here is a link for Zero TV's destruction of cable TV...

It's raining again, no TV! Cable used to be so much cheaper with the same amount of watchable shows and you could watch it while it rained.

Why are the rich getting richer while the poor are getting poorer?

The poor taking handouts are the problem
Millionaires got $80 million in jobless aid during recession. Why?
here's why

Off-shore tax havens...too bad the poor don't have this option.
I diserve every penny poor people make me

And the poor are being reverted back to the old days of Debtor Prisons...illegally. This is a drain on the states because it costs more money to incarcerate them than their fines are worth. It also destroys the life of them and their families, making them all even poorer.
Debtor's Prison

Land of the Free Indeed

World's Incarceration Rates
Here is a list of the countries of the world's incarceration rates. Prisoner's per 100,000 of population. Can you guess which country tops the list? Yep, that's right, the Land of the Free is number one.
_incarceration_rate
Realize that SOME of these places that are high on the list are safer to be in because they are so policed. But, also realize that those that are incarcerated in the land of the free are there for petty offenses. The land of the free has so many laws that no one could possibly comprehend all of them. A profession that is dedicated to another language in this country is called LAWYER.

None of the Government's damn business
Apple's iMessage encryption messes with DEA's surveillance. The DEA is crying that they can't intercept messages that use Apple's encrypted chat service.

Mayflower, Arkansas Oil Pipeline spill
This oil spill is on of two this week. This one spills into a neighborhood and absolutely destroys a neighborhood and endangers Lake Conrad. This will absolutely kill your living habitat.
But, I'm sure that Big Go will play it down and not give a shit about the neighborhood.
