Military says no more tanks, Congress insists more tanks
This is the epitome of the Military Industrial Complex. The military has said that the upgrades on the Abrams tanks are not necessary and for some reason Congress ignores the plea. Politics is why this is an issue. Apparently, Congress is unwilling to relinquish this program because it thinks that America is only able to make war machines. The taxpayers are footing this bill because Congress is inept on the concept of progress.

I want a progressive society, not a progressive government. A progressive government means that our society has failed us and is lazy.
