We pay a huge amount of money to get the few channels we like and when those channels have repeats or something uninteresting on the other 200 channels have bullshit on. Is this why they give us recording options? Because we pay for 200 channels that are GARBAGE?
Why do we keep putting up with this shit? Why do we keep paying for channel 270 that shows vaccuum shark and channels 263 and 147 and 341 have the same infomercial on at 4 in the afternoon? Why is that the norm? Why do we choose the company that advertises the most channels for slightly more channels only to watch 1/98th of them? Why, in 2013, do we not have A LA Carte? Why can't we choose and pay for the channels we want? Why do i pay a big chunk of my paycheck to a cable company for certain channels plus a Bunch of channels that no one on earth gives a shit about just to have them threaten me that they might be lost later. Why does that make them feel better? Profits?
Why are the cable companies allowed to pay off the government in order to deny this sensible idea? A la Carte?
I am guessing that the cable companies know that they will loose their ass if people choose A LA Carte. They got together and thought, Yes We will loose our asses, We should band together and hire a big fat lobbyist and bribe the gov't and make sure the people pay for what they don't want. We have exhausted all our advertising outlets. The people don't care and they are catching on that we don't care and are absolute liars.
Why do I pay for the advertised 240 channels for 100 bucks a month? I don't know. Atleast half the channels are infomercials. I don't want to pay for that shit. I really like relaxing in my bed on Saturday and flipping through the channels. 100 hundred bucks a month for a flip show...I guess the middle class doesn't deserve TV. If anyone needs that many QVC channels you know it would be the rich bitches in Beverly Hills that shit out money...
